This is high quality work of bronze with solid mercury gilding and decoration of cobalt blue porcelain. Clock has compound pendulum movement that distributes rotation to both sides. The clock mechanism is in working condition.

The set includes two beautiful candlesticks for one candle, in the form of vases with flowers. Pictures not very quality and do not renderbeauty of timepiece naturally. Technique: Hand chased, gilt bronze (ormolu), Dark cobalt blue porcelain. Size metric: 65 cm high 62 cm, wide 25 cm deep; urns are 51,5 cm high. Size inches: 25.5 in high.

10 in deep; urns are 20,2 in high. Style / motive: Neoclassical, Eclectic, Neo-renaissance elements / Putti. Inscription: "Gantter" at nearly each bronze part (discovered during movement repair). Gross weight / dimensional: 50 kg.

A putto (Italian "putto" , plural - "putti") is a figure in a work of art depicted as a chubby male child, usually naked and sometimes winged. Originally limited to profane passions in symbolism, the putto came to represent the sacred cherub (plural cherubs) (plural cherubim); and in the Baroque period of art, the putto came to represent the omnipresence of God. A putto representing a cupid is also called an "amorino" (plural - "amorini") or "amoretto" (plural - "amoretti").
